   Established the National Association of Asian-Pacific Deacons Association (NAAPAD).

   Members will meet by yearly convention in October every year.

               2 Vietnamese Deacons and wives

Guest Speakers: 1)  Bishop Francis DiLorenzo, STD,Bishop of Honolulu Diocese

                              2)  Fr. Marc Alexander, STD,  Diocesan Theologian,

                                   Honolulu Diocese

Business:

The President, Deacon Pascal Hong's 2 year term was over and the

Deacon John Nyguen's 2 year term begins.

Deacon Joseph CJ Lee, St. Paul/Minneapolis Archdiocese, was elected as the President-Elect.

Next convention will be held at Washington, DC in October 2004.

 

  

  

 

    December, 2003:

 

       Internet website for NAAPAD was completed by Theresa Lee, a wife of Deacon James

       Hyun Lee of Archdiocese of  Toronto, Canada.  Theresa Lee will manage the website.

       The NAAPAD website address:  www.permanentdeacons.org

 

     2004 Annual Meeting for NAAPAD was cancelled due to the illness of the president.
